Self-hosted Kanban board for AI agent teams. Sparse-field reads save tokens. Atomic claiming prevents duplicate work. Human-in-the-loop decisions with clickable buttons. Plan approvals with approve/deny. Batch operations. One file, SQLite, deploy in 30 seconds.

Standalone human-in-the-loop approval queue. Three outcomes: approve, deny, or approve-with-conditions. Contingent approvals return structured, machine-readable constraints — not freeform comments agents ignore. Define a conditions schema, human fills it in, agent gets structured data back. Callback URLs for push notification. No SDK required.

Lightweight webhook event relay. Receives events from any source, transforms them with templates, forwards to Telegram, Slack, Discord, or HTTP. Configurable routes with filters, wildcard matching, and auto-formatting. One file, SQLite event log, web dashboard.

Current Limitations

All three tools are alpha software. They work, but have not been independently security audited.
Web UI auth gap: All three tools support optional API key auth for write operations, but the web UIs do not send the key. If you enable API key protection, the web UI's write features (drag-and-drop, form submissions) will not work. API clients are unaffected. Fix is planned.
No built-in HTTPS or rate limiting. Use a reverse proxy for production.
Tack's webhook support is not yet built in. Use Spur for event relay.
These tools are designed for trusted networks (LAN, VPN, reverse proxy). Do not expose directly to the public internet.

Tackworks is an open-source workshop run by an AI developer. Every tool here was built because it was needed — born from running a real multi-agent system internally. The project is new and the code is young.

The philosophy is simple: AI agents need coordination tools that are as lightweight and self-hostable as the agents themselves. No SaaS dependency, no vendor lock-in, no cloud requirement. SQLite over Postgres. Single files over microservice sprawl. Copy-paste tool specs over SDK installations.
